Subscription Terms

These Subscription Terms (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of paid features or premium services offered by Nosis, operated by Upturn Consultancy LLC, registered in Sharjah Media City (SHAMS), United Arab Emirates.
By purchasing a subscription, you are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, which form an integral part of the broader Nosis Terms of Service.
1. Types of Subscriptions and Features
Nosis offers two types of access:
Freemium Access
Unlocks one book summary per day after watching a short video advertisement
No payment required
Paid Subscription
Full access to the complete catalog of summaries
Unlimited reading and listening (audio features coming soon)
Early access to new content and exclusive features
Available Plans
Monthly Subscription
Annual Subscription (at a discounted rate)
Full pricing details are available on the subscription screen of the Nosis app or website.
2. Billing and Payment
All payments are processed through the Apple App Store (for iOS) and Google Play Store (for Android).
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
Charges will be applied up to 24 hours before the current subscription period ends.
💡 Prices are displayed in local currency and may vary depending on location, tax regulations, or platform policies.
3. Managing or Canceling Your Subscription
You may manage or cancel your subscription anytime through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
If canceled, access will remain available until the end of the current paid period and will not renew afterward.
⚠️ We do not provide prorated refunds for unused time unless required by law or by app store policy.
4. Free Trials
Nosis may offer a free trial period (e.g., 7 days).
If not canceled before the trial ends, the subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan.
Eligibility for a free trial may be restricted based on account history or user region.
5. Refund Policy
All transactions are handled by third parties (Apple and Google).
Refund requests must be submitted directly to the platform where the purchase was made.
Nosis does not have the authority to approve or reject refund requests directly.

6. Special Terms for Users in India
In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, users residing in India are entitled to:
Clear and transparent pricing and auto-renewal information
The right to cancel a subscription before payment confirmation
File a complaint with Nosis’s designated grievance officer
Nosis is committed to resolving complaints within 15 business days.
7. Changes to Pricing or Features
Nosis reserves the right to modify pricing, add or remove features, or change the subscription structure at any time.
Active users will be notified in advance if any changes affect their accounts.
8. Termination by Nosis
We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to paid services if:
The subscription system is misused
Fraudulent or suspicious activity is detected
A violation of the Terms of Service or applicable law occurs
If terminated due to a violation, no refunds will be issued.
